BRAINDAMNED: GHosts...

wala lang... for Halloween katuwaan...

I have this prayer... that i never, EVER, want to see ghosts or anything supernatural... my sister, eDz, sees 'em sometimes so i figured, one is enough for our family.

so bakit ka nagpakita?!

last tuesday night, i came home tired from a bball game and had just parked my car under a tree in front of my house. now i have this weird habit of polishing my black shoes before leaving them in the car... tsinelas lang ako pag nag-mamaneho... anyways, i was doing just that- polishing my shoes standing outside beside my car... lagpas na ng 9.30 so wlang gaanong sasakyan dumadaan... tapos i "thought" i saw a girl wearing white under the tree... pero nung tiningnan ko, wala naman. thinking that i was just too tired... i continued polishing my shoe (yah yah, weirdo, i know...) tapos kala ko nakita ko nanaman... pero wala naman... this happened 3 times.

since i was a sensible apathetic med student (hehehe) i attributed this apparition as a figment of my overstressed and fatigued brain.

pero naisip ko rin "i better ask eDz if she ever sees anything under that tree...". yun nga lang, sa pagod ko, i forgot all about it and just went to bed.

wednesday night.

eDz was in mom's room watching telenovelas and we got to talking about stuff. then she suddenly remembered something that she wanted to tell me... and i remembered the thing i wanted to ask her...

"chi, may tatanong ako syo..."

"-- wait! ako muna! may nakikita ka ba ever sa ilalim ng puno sa harap ng gate? babae? na naka-white?..."

while i was saying this, eDz suddenly gripped both my hands...

"chi, pano mo nalaman?! sakto description mo...?"

it seems that that afternoon, on her way home from school, eDz saw a girl wearing white looking through our front gate... she thought it was one of our friends waiting outside the gate (coz it looked like she was looking for someone, shet) or me wearing my white uniform. but when she drew near, there was no one there.

eDz was gonna ask me if we had visitors that afternoon. damn.

we didnt get much sleep that night. bangag nanaman ako ng thursday. argh.
